People who know me can also say that the newsagents, especially those ones in Germany, France and Italy, wouldn’t sell the copies they do without my help! I’m joking! But my help can be considered very big!!! Believe me!

I have a real passion for any magazine and book about furnishing, decoration, colors, gardens and fashion; my favorite ones can count on my subscription and I have been reading them for several years.

As you can imagine it’s impossible to keep all these copies in my house or I should move one day, taking with me my husband and my cats.

But I have a solution: after reading them and leaving a post-it on the pages I love or I think more interesting, any year I bring my pile of magazines and I cut the articles I indicated with my personal signs to keep them in proper place, the same for the photos I like more.

A friend of mine (you know him: he’s the one who helped me with my wonderful website) said to me: “Bettina, you have a collection in your office that is really a treasure! I have never seen such a big quantity of magazines! You can show them to your readers, it’s a present for them and also a value you can add to your website! Nobody does something like this!”

I listened to him but I was a little bit jealous about my personal and “tiring” collection. It has been taking my time for so many years and can it have the same value for anybody as it has for me? I want you to know the big effort I did to keep them and to select... and to choose… and to put in the proper section to me….

But OK! I’m doing it! And not because my friend persuaded me, but because I think it’s right to share with you this collection.

This is the meaning of my pressroom. I think you understand the importance it has to me now and this is why I’d like to know your opinion about it.
